Collaboration in the Public Sector

Evolved Media produced two white papers for clients from a leading international software company on the topic of collaborative outcomes.

Collaborative outcomes can be described as a form of inter-agency or intra-agency collaboration or joint working where the agencies involved share responsibility for, and actively collaborate, to manage toward an outcome that is beneficial to all agencies involved.

Working closely through interviews with the clients and persons from different governmental agencies who are practicing collaborative outcomes, Evolved Media's editor/analysts and writers assembled a thorough overview of collaborative outcomes and the architecture behind collaborative outcomes processes.

In the first paper, "Collaborative Outcomes in the Public Sector: An Innovative Way for Delivering Public Value," an overview and definition of collaborative outcomes is given, as well as some examples of possible case studies where collaborative outcomes could provide benefits to both governmental agencies and their constituents.

The second paper, "Processes and Architecture of Collaborative Outcomes in the Public Sector," looks at the way collaborative outcomes are achieved and the patterns that are starting to emerge around the processes and computing architecture that supports them.
